ALECSO honors the first batch of trainees from Saudi Arabia

 

 

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, chaired, on September 7, 2023 at ALECSO headquarters, a ceremony to honor a group of young trainees from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Mohammed bin Salman Foundation “MiSK”.

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Yahya Qasim Al-Subaie, Cultural Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Tunis, representing H.E. Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Tunisia Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al-Saqr; Eng. Abdulrahman Al Shawan, Director-General of the Strategy and Projects Department at the Saudi National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, representing H.E. Mr. Ahmed  Al-Blihed, Secretary-General of the Saudi National Commission; Mrs. Atheer Bin Muqrin, Director of the Training Program at “MiSK” Foundation; along with ALECSO’s department directors and experts.

The ceremony was followed, via ZOOM, by the staff of the Saudi National Commission for Education, Culture and Science. 

In his statement on this occasion, delivered on his behalf by Eng. Abdulrahman Al Shawan, the Secretary-General of the Saudi National Commission conveyed the greetings of HH the Saudi Minister of Culture, President of the National Commission. He stressed the Kingdom’s role in promoting the work of international organizations and upgrading the competence of their staff, and concluded by reiterating his thanks to the Organization.

The training course was themed “Building Skills and Capacities in ALECSO Areas of Action”. Nine participants received training under the direction of ALECSO’s department directors and experts.

In his statement on this occasion, the Director-General commended the success of the training course, which was prepared in cooperation and coordination with the Saudi National Commission for Education, Culture and Science. He also expressed appreciation of the great interest shown by the trainees who were able to acquire new skills in terms of software engineering, data analysis, and strategic planning.
