The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization participated in the meetings of the 112th session of the Economic and Social Council, held on August 27-31, 2023, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo, Egypt.
The ALECSO Delegation was headed by Dr. Sami Zayoud, Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs, and included Mr. Abdelhak Haif, Head of Office of the Director-General.
The Social Committee met on August 27th to consider social questions on the agenda. The Economic Committee met on August 28th to discuss economic issues.
