The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, and the Tunisian Association for Educational Initiatives are pleased to announce the launch of the jurying process of the works of participants in the third edition of the Arab Code Week (ACW), held under the theme of “Arabic Language and Digital Creativity”.
The results for each participating country will be announced in September 2023, and the final results of winners at the level of the Arab world in October and November 2023. The closing and award ceremony will be held in December 2023.
The third edition of the Arab Code Week was a great success, with a record participation by teachers and students. Hereafter are some statistics relating to this event :
- Number of students benefiting from ACW activities: 2.904.732
- Number of teachers: 10.914 from 21 Arab countries
- Number of schools: 4431
- Number of activities: 53.392
- Number of participants in the Golden Team: 1344 from 15 Arab countries
- Number of participants in the Golden Teacher initiative: 507 from 14 Arab countries
- Number of NFT tokens registered on the ALECSO NFT platform: 1273
