H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on July 28, 2023 at ALECSO headquarters, H.E. Dr. Bandar bin Fahd Al-Fuhaid, President of the Arab Tourism Organization.
The meeting discussed ways of strengthening cooperation between the two organizations.
The Director-General presented the main projects and activities included in ALECSO’s Action Plan for the period 2023-2028, the first tranche (2023-2024) of which is currently being implemented. He also highlighted the initiatives launched by the Organization in line with its mandate.
For his part, Dr. Al-Fuhaid commended the significant role played by the Director-General in promoting joint action. He underlined the need to continue cooperation in pursuit of the two Organizations’ respective mandates, and in line with the principle of culture-tourism complementarity contained in the agreement signed between the two parties.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the Arab Tourism Organization offered the Organization’s Shield to the Director-General of ALECSO.
