The 23rd session of the Governing Board of the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE) took place on 8-9 June 2023 at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France. The Board includes among its members Dr. Mohamed Jemni, Director of ICT Department, who was elected Vice-Chair of the Board.
The meeting, chaired by Dr. Asha KANWAR, President of the Commonwealth of Learning and current Chairperson of the Board, discussed key issues of concern to the IITE, including digital transformation in education, artificial intelligence, and ways to leverage the latest educational technologies.
The session was concluded by Ms. Stefania Giannini, UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education.
