The SDG4 High-Level Steering Committee Sherpa Group Meeting was held on May 31- June 1, 2023, at UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
The meeting discussed follow-up, at regional level, of the Transforming Education Summit, education financing and related policies, the promotion of multilateral partnership regionally and internationally, the role of HLSC members in mobilizing financing resources, and the role of youth in transforming education.
ALECSO participated in this meeting, along with Jordan and Morocco. It was represented by Mr. Hechmi Ardhaoui, Project Coordinator at the Education Department, and Ms. Afifa Zayadi, Head of ALECSO Office at UNESCO.
