The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) held, on May 29, 2023, a distance training course on the ALECSO NFT Platform, jointly with the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture.
This course is part of a series of trainings conducted as part of the 3rd edition of the Arab Code Week, held under the title “Arabic Language and Digital Creativity.”
The course was provided by Eng. Zied Maâzaoui, Software Expert at the ICT Department. Over 730 teachers participated in the training via Teams.
The ALECSO NFT Platform is an educational Blockchain-based platform developed by ALESCO that simulates global NFT marketplaces (OpenSea, Rarible, Binance) to display educational products or any digital content produced by Arab youth. It is designed to train and encourage young people to step into the new digital world and share their achievements on the platform, as well as to gain experience and expertise in digital entrepreneurship, e-marketing, and use of digital currencies. The platform can also be used by teachers as a virtual learning laboratory to teach these new technologies to students.
