H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on May 5, 2023 in his office at ALECSO headquarters in Tunis, H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, President of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, and his accompanying delegation which included Mr. Amer Al-Menhali, Second Secretary at the UAE Embassy in Tunisia, Ahmed Mohamed Al-Dah, Director of Heritage Projects and Properties and Head of the International Relations Department, Ms. Fatima Marzouki, Director of the Office of the President of the Institute, and Mr. Atiq Al-Qubaisi, Heritage Researcher at the Institute.
The meeting was also attended by Dr. Mourad Mahmoudi, Secretary of the Executive Board and General Conference and Acting Director of the Culture Department, and Dr. Fethi Jarray, Expert at the Culture Department, who gave a PP presentation on ALECSO’s programs, projects and activities in the field of tangible and intangible cultural heritage,
The meeting explored prospects and opportunities for more expanded cooperation between ALECSO and the Sharjah Institute for Heritage.
