H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on May 4, 2023 at ALECSO headquarters, Dr. Mohamedou Lamrabet Agid, President of the University of Islamic Sciences in Laayoune – Mauritania.
The Director-General commended the scientific role of the University of Islamic Sciences, and highlighted the importance of expanding cooperation and partnership between ALECSO and the University. He indicated that ALECSO stands ready to continue supporting the University, after having provided it with the Classera system which enabled remote teaching/learning during the pandemic.
For his part, Dr. Mohamedou Lamrabet Agid expressed appreciation of the significant role played by ALECSO in the scientific, educational and cultural fields, and thanked the Organization for the support provided to the University during the COVID-19 crisis. He stressed the University’s readiness to scale up cooperation with ALECSO through a Cooperation Agreement that would serve shared goals and strengthen partnership in various fields of mutual interest.
The agreement covers various areas related to the promotion of scientific research, and involves the sharing of expertise between ALECSO and the University.
