H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on April 12, 2023 at ALECSO headquarters, H.E. Dr. Hilal bin Abdullah Al-Sinani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Tunisia.
Both sides reviewed the close cooperation between ALECSO and the Sultanate of Oman, through the institutions active in the educational, cultural and scientific fields, and explored ways of further enhancing this cooperation through the implementation of joint activities.
The Director-General commended the continuous support provided by the Sultanate of Oman to ALECSO, and its keenness to promote joint Arab action in the educational, cultural and scientific fields, through hosting various activities and events, actively participating in the council and committee meetings and other events convened by ALECSO, and making the Omani competencies and expertise available to the Organization. He looked forward to further strengthening relations with Oman, through the active role played the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed his thanks to the Director-General for his significant work and initiatives aimed at promoting joint Arab action, and for his forward-looking vision to enhance common action between ALECSO and Omani institutions in the educational, cultural and scientific fields.
