H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on April 5, 2023 at ALECSO headquarters, H.E. Mr. Mansur Khaled Al-Omar, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Tunisia.
The meeting reviewed the longstanding cooperation between ALECSO and the State of Kuwait through the institutions active in the educational, cultural and scientific fields, and discussed the ways of scaling up this cooperation through the implementation of joint activities in Kuwait during the current year, the first tranche of ALECSO’s Action Plan 2023-2028.
The Director-General took this opportunity to thank the Ambassador for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him during his recent visit to Kuwait in March 2023, which was an occasion for him to meet with a number of Kuwaiti ministers.
The Director-General commended the continuous support provided by the State of Kuwait for the Organization, and its keenness to promote joint Arab action in the educational, cultural and scientific fields, through hosting various activities and events, actively participating in the council and committee meetings and other events convened by ALECSO, and making the Kuwaiti competencies and expertise available to the Organization.
For his part, the Ambassador thanked the Director-General for his commendable work and significant initiatives to promote joint Arab action. He also thanked him for his visit to the State of Kuwait to strengthen cooperation between ALECSO and Kuwaiti institutions in the educational, cultural and scientific fields.
