H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, attended, on March 17, 2023, the presentations offered by Mr. Talal Al-Rumaidhi and Mr. Nasser Al-Darmaki, as part of the 20th edition of the Sharjah Heritage Days, held in Sharjah, UAE.
The Director-General was accompanied by Dr. Mourad Mahmoudi, Secretary of the Executive Board and General Conference and Acting Director of the Culture Department, and Mr. Abdelhadi Ghemari, Program Coordinator at the Culture Department.
The presentations underlined the importance of publicizing heritage among the public and leveraging modern technology and Artificial Intelligence to develop museums and promote the documentation, valorization, preservation and transmission of heritage.
