A delegation from the Republic of Uzbekistan visited, on March 13, 2023, the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts, a subsidiary institution of ALECSO based in Cairo.
The delegation was briefed on the Institute’s history, sections, and missions to collect Arabic manuscripts in the Arab world and elsewhere, as well as its plans for the future in line with the directives of ALECSO.
For their part, the members of the delegation commended the fruitful efforts of the Institute, indicating that their visit aimed at establishing an agreement with the Institute for cooperation and scientific exchange.
At the end of the visit, the members of the delegation offered the Institute a selection of scientific publications issued by the research centers they represent.
