The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) took part in the 29th edition of the Sfax International Children's Book Fair, with a paper presented by Mr. Hachemi Ardhaoui at the International Symposium held on this occasion on February 9-10, 2023, entitled “Education for Sustainable Development : Children’s Literature as a Model”.
The representative of ALECSO stressed that the Organization, headed by Director-General H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, is keen to strengthen cooperation and partnership with Tunisian educational and cultural institutions concerned with children's development, and to work jointly with civil society in Tunisia and in other Arab countries to promote children and guarantee their rights as part of sustainable development.
