In preparation for the 9th session of the Arab Forum for Scientific Research and Sustainable Development, scheduled to be held on January 30-31, 2023, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman under the auspices of H.E. the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the Secretary-General of the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, H.E. Ms. Amna Al Balushi, received at the seat of the Ministry of Education, the ALECSO delegation which was headed by Dr. Mohammad Sanad Abu Darwish, Director of the Science and Scientific Research Department.
Dr. Abu-Darwish conveyed the greetings of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and his wishes for the success of the Forum.
The meeting discussed the final preparations for the Forum, to be attended by a large number of female and male researchers from Oman and other Arab countries. About 170 participants are expected to take part in the Forum.
Both parties also reviewed some of the projects that the Department of Science and Scientific Research is preparing to implement in 2023 in cooperation with the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.
