In collaboration with the Algerian Ministry of Vocational Training and Education, the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization held, on December 24 - 26, 2022, the 3rd Conference of Arab Ministers and Senior Officials in charge of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, kindly hosted by the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
The Conference was held under the theme of “Aligning Technical and Vocational Education and Training with the Labor Market, the Future of Green Economy, and Digitization”.
The Conference kicked off, at expert level, under the chairmanship of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and H.E. Dr. Yacine Merabi, Algerian Minister of Vocational Training and Education.
The session was attended by Ms. Nadia Bouhara, Acting Secretary of the Algerian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, Mr. Kacem Jahlan, member of the ALECSO Executive Board for Algeria, as well as representatives from the Association of Arab Universities, the Arab Federation for Technical Education, and the Algerian Ministry of Vocational Training and Education.
ALECSO was also represented by Dr. Rami Iskander, Director of the Education Department, along with Ms. Jalila Labidi and Ms. Khairiya Sallami.
