The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Jingdezhen Ceramic University.
The agreement was announced during a ceremony held on December 20, 2022 and attended virtually by H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO,
The agreement provides for the transfer of Chinese expertise in terms of ceramic technology to Arab students and teachers. It involves establishing an effective mechanism for communication and exchange between the two parties and for the implementation of joint activities.
Jingdezhen Ceramic University is the unique multi-disciplinary ceramic institution of higher education in China, and one of the first 31 independently-set up undergraduate art universities in China. It has become the national and even worldwide important base of ceramic talents cultivation, ceramic technology innovation, and ceramic culture and art exchange.
