H.E. Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Chairman of the Executive Board of Arab Youth Ministers, and H.E. Dr. Moufied Shehab, former Minister of Higher Education, took part, on December 8, 2022, in the ceremony of granting the Arab Youth Research Award, offered by the Institute of Arab Research and Studies, a subsidiary institution of ALECSO.
On this same occasion, the Conference on “Youth and Promoting Joint Arab Action” was inaugurated. It was organized by the Institute, jointly with the Arab Youth Council for Integrated Development, to discuss issues related to the challenges and prospects for joint Arab action in various fields. It was attended by researchers from Palestine, Algeria, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Morocco and Egypt, as well as Egyptian parliamentarians, Arab cultural advisors, and representatives of Arab youth organizations.
