H.E. Dr. Abdurahman Mohammed Al-Asmi, Director-General of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States (ABEGS), received, on December 6, 2022, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, who was accompanied by Dr. Mourad Mahmoudi, Secretary of the Executive Board and General Conference and Acting Director of the Culture Department.
The two sides discussed the ways and means of further boosting cooperation and partnership between the two institutions. They also agreed to set up a joint committee to establish mechanisms for scaling up relations in areas of mutual interest.
This visit comes within the context of ALECSO’s holding of the 23rd Conference of Arab Culture Ministers, kindly hosted by Saudi Arabia on December 7, 2022.
