ALECSO participates in “Regional Digital Trust Days”

As part of promoting joint Arab action and inter-regional and global cooperation in the field of safety and security of technological transformations at the strategic, technical, and organizational levels, the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO) organized,  on November 29-30 and December 1, 2022, in Tunis, Tunisia, the “Regional Digital Trust Days” under the theme of “Cooperation for Enhancing the Climate of Trust and Security towards Building a Sustainable Digital Future”. 

This event was attended by H.E. Eng. Mohamed Ben Amor, Secretary-General of AICTO, H.E. Dr. Nizar ben Néji, Tunisian Minister of Communication Technologies, along with a number of relevant experts and actors.

Specialized training courses in digital trust and standardization were held during this three-day event, in addition to the 2nd edition of the “Arab High-Level Forum on Cybersecurity” and the launch of the Arab Strategy for Cybersecurity.

This year’s edition of the forum was designed to move a step further in unifying Arab efforts for a safer and more effective cyberspace and ensure the highest level of development in an era marked by tremendous changes and unprecedented growth in the digital sector.

ALECSO was represented in this event by Dr. Mohamed Jemni, Director of the ICT Department, who offered a presentation on ALECSO’s projects in the field of Cyber-education and the initiatives launched by the Organization to build a sustainable digital future in the Arab world.
