The “youth training program on setting up and developing start-ups in the field of technology and innovation”, launched by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), was concluded on November 28, 2022 at ICESCO headquarters in Rabat, Morocco.
The closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, along with high-ranking international officials, relevant ministers, and experts in youth entrepreneurship development.
The opening session was followed by a discussion panel on the importance of supporting young entrepreneurs and tackling the challenges encountered by start-ups. The panel was attended by Dr. Salem Mohamed Al-Malik, Director-General of ICESCO, Dr. Younes Sekkouri, Moroccan Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. It was moderated by Mr. Baybars Altuntas, Chairman of the World Investment Forum.
