As part of his visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, paid a visit to the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco where he met with Dr. Abdeljalil Lahjomri, Permanent Secretary of the Academy.
The meeting discussed the ways of boosting cooperation and partnership between ALECSO and the Academy. It also addressed preparations for holding an international symposium on the Arabic language.
Dr. Lahjomri expressed his appreciation of this visit which enabled him to gain a better knowledge of ALECSO and its mandate, goals, and future programs in the fields of education, culture and science. He stressed the Academy’s support to ALECSO and its programs, especially those concerned with scientific and cultural empowerment in accordance with contemporary values and the requirements of sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Jamal Eddine El Aloua, Secretary-General of the Moroccan National Commission, Dr. Abdelfattah Lahjomri, Director of the Rabat-based Arabization Coordination Bureau, Mr. Bachir Tamer, Executive Director of the Academy, and Mr. Abdelhedi Ghemari, Program Coordinator at ALECSO’s Culture Department.
