As part of his visit to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, met, on November 25, 2022, with Dr. Salim Mohammed Al Malik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO).
The two sides exchanged views on ways to enhance cultural and scientific cooperation between ALECSO and ICESCO, and to develop a practical vision for the implementation of various programs in fields of mutual interest, especially those related to education and youth, in a manner commensurate with the needs of the two Organizations’ Member States.
The Director-General reviewed some of the ALECSO’s projects and programs in the fields of education, culture and science, and the outputs of the Ministerial Conferences recently organized by the Organization.
The Director-General and his accompanying delegation then visited the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, organized at ICESCO headquarters.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Jamal Eddine El Aloua, Secretary General of the Moroccan National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, Dr. Abdelfattah Lahjomri, Director of the Rabat-based Arabization Coordination Bureau, and Dr. Abdelilah Benarfa, Deputy Director-General of ICESCO.
