H.E. President Kais Saied, President of the Republic of Tunisia, visited the exhibition entitled “Calligraphy : Shared Memory, Living Heritage, and Diverse Art”, organized by ALECSO on the occasion of the Francophonie Summit, held in Djerba, Tunisia, on November 19-20, 2022. He was accompanied by H.E. Dr. Hayet Ketat, Tunisian Culture Minister.
The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Tunisian Ministry of Cultural Affairs, was launched on November 13, 2022. It was inaugurated by Dr. Hayat Ketat, Tunisian Culture Minister, and Ms. Haoua Acyl, Representative of the International Organization of La Francophonie for North Africa, in the presence of members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Tunisia and Ministers from the States participating in the Summit. It was also attended by Dr. Mourad Mahmoudi, Secretary of the Executive Board and General Conference, Acting Director of the Culture Department, who represented H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, as well as by the staff of the Culture Department.
