H.E. Mr. Mansour Khaled Al-Omar, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Tunisia, received, on November 10, 2022, at the headquarters of the Embassy, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Director-General congratulated the Ambassador on his new position, wishing him all success in his diplomatic mission.
The Director-General offered a brief overview about ALECSO’s current and future activities and programs, and its preparations to launch the implementation of the Action Plan for the period 2023-2028.
The Director-General expressed appreciation of the significant level of cooperation between ALECSO and the State of Kuwait, through the Kuwaiti National Commission for Education, Culture and Science. He commended Kuwait’s active participation in the activities carried out by ALECSO in Kuwait and in other Arab countries, as part of promoting joint Arab action.
For his part, the Ambassador thanked the Director-General for this visit which was an opportunity for him to better get acquainted with ALECSO and the key role it plays in its fields of competence. He commended the Organization’s achievements designed to promote education for all, including early childhood education, and to build an educated and enlightened Arab generation.
The two sides stressed the need to further strengthen cooperation between ALECSO and the State of Kuwait, in pursuit of shared goals.
