The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization is launching, jointly with the “International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the Auspices of UNESCO” (Shenzhen, China), “Huawei”, and the “Bait Al-Hikma Group for Chinese Cultural Industries”, the Education Technology Innovation Award (Mini-Lecture in Arabic).
This initiative aims to explore new teaching methods involving mini-lectures and innovative teaching.
The competition is designed for higher education teachers in Arabic-speaking regions, and involves developing innovative teaching methods, transforming traditional classes into virtual classes, exploring pilot experiments and advanced expertise in Arabic-speaking regions, sharing high-quality Arabic mini-lecture resources, and expanding knowledge dissemination and educational innovation mechanisms.
The competition covers the following topics :
- Online teaching and blended learning
- Development of ICT and related devices
- Transforming STEM education based on ICT
Those wishing to participate must create an account, log in to the IIOE website, and complete the registration form at https://ar.iioe.org/mini-lecture.
Participants must log in to the IIOE Arabic platform, download the PPT form, and submit the completed courseware in PPT format. The deadline for uploading the PPT file is December 15, 2022.
Videos of mini-lectures must be uploaded to the IIOE Arabic platform. The deadline for uploading videos is December 30, 2022.
