The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (Culture Department) held, on October 29-30, 2022, in Beirut, Lebanon, an international forum entitled: “Anticipating the future of Arab culture in light of global challenges”.
The forum opened with a statement by H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, delivered on his behalf by Dr. Mourad Mahmoudi, Secretary of the Executive Board and General Conference, and Acting Director of the Culture Department, and a statement by H.E. Judge Mohammad Wissam Al-Murtada, Lebanese Minister of Culture.
The Forum addresses the state of Arab culture in the post-pandemic era, and seeks to develop a vision that anticipates the future of Arab culture at local, regional and international levels.
