The Institute of Arab Research and Studies, a Cairo-based subsidiary institution of ALECSO, organized, on October 10-13, 2022, a training course designed to provide researchers with basic knowledge and skills needed for the conduct of scientific research in the field of heritage and manuscripts.
The training course focused on topic selection, research methods and tools, documentation, sources and references, research planning, and research writing.
The course was attended, virtually and in-person, by a group of researchers, and was moderated by Dr. Sherif Shaheen, Head of the Heritage Department at the Institute and former Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University.
