The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) has recently released the 15th issue of the Bulletin of ALECSO and Arab National Commissions.
The Bulletin is issued by the Secretariat of the Executive Board and General Conference. It includes the news posted on Social Media pages (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) of Arab Commissions, along with news on the activities of ALECSO’s General Directorate and subsidiary institutions, National Commissions, and affiliated networks.
The Bulletin is directed primarily to Arab National Commissions for Education, Culture and Science as well as to the networks of Schools, Clubs and Chairs affiliated with ALECSO.
The current issue of the Bulletin, which has taken on a new look, covers ALECSO’s participation in commemorating the 56th International Literacy Day, the Coordination Meeting on the nomination of “Henna” for the UNESCO Heritage List (Abu Dhabi, UAE), the closing ceremony of the ALECSO Olympiad (Hammamet, Tunisia), and the state of digital education in the Arab countries. The Bulletin also includes news about the tribute paid by the Lebanese Culture Ministry to the martyr Shireen Abu Akleh, the cooperation agreement signed between the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts and Al-Azhar University in Indonesia, and ALECSO’s celebration of the Arab Children’s Day.
