The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) is preparing to announce the final results of the second edition of the “Arab Code Week” (ACW) in a ceremony to be held at ALECSO headquarters on October 7, 2022. The ceremony will be attended by senior Arab education officials, along with print and audio-visual media professionals.
The ACW was jointly organized by ALECSO, the Tunisian Association for Educational Initiatives and the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture. It is designed to spread the culture of programming, develop basic educational and scientific skills, and enhance technology-based creativity and innovation.
The second edition of the Arab Code Week witnessed wide participation, both in the main competition and in side events. Over two million participants from across the Arab World took part in the ACW activities which involved 6000 Arab schools and over 50000 teachers.
