H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and H.E. Dr. Mohammed Eid Al-Suraihi, President of the Cairo-based Arab Council for Creativity and Innovation, signed, on May 27, 2022 at ALECSO headquarters, a Memorandum of Understanding designed to strengthen joint action on sound scientific and technological foundations.
The MoU seeks to open new prospects for cooperation between the Organization and the Council, in order to leverage existing insights, expertise and experiences, and direct research toward scientific experiments, creative ideas, and environmental and sustainable development issues in the Arab world, in accordance with an implementation plan that will be prepared to that end. The MoU also aims to promote the dissemination of the culture of scientific research based on creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
The two parties agreed to prepare a protocol that includes details of the joint projects and activities in terms of their goals, implementation schedule, follow-up mechanisms, and the obligations of each party.
