H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, took part remotely, on April 15, 2022, in the meeting of the General Assembly of the Moroccan National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.
The meeting was chaired by H.E. Dr. Chakib Benmoussa, Moroccan Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, President of the National Commission, and attended by the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills, the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, the Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, the President of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council, the Minister-Delegate in charge of Human Rights, the Ambassador of Morocco to UNESCO, and the Secretary-General of the Moroccan National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.
In his address to the meeting, the Director-General thanked Dr. Chakib Benmoussa for this kind invitation, and commended the relations of cooperation and partnership between ALECSO and the Moroccan National Commission, which have enabled the successful implementation of many activities with Moroccan educational, cultural and scientific institutions. He highlighted some of the key achievements in the fields of education, culture and science, including the contribution to the plans, strategies, studies and encyclopedias prepared by the Organization. He indicated that ALECSO stands ready to further boost cooperation in pursuit of shared educational, cultural and scientific goals, through the implementation of joint programs and projects.
