H.E Dr. Haifa Al-Najjar, Minister of Culture of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, received, on March 26, 2022, Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO.
The Minister welcomed the Director-General and thanked him for this visit which offers an opportunity for consultation, coordination and strengthening relations between the Ministry and ALECSO, especially with regard to Jordan’s preparations for launching the “Irbid, Capital of Arab Culture for 2022” event.
On his part, the Director-General thanked the Minister for offering this opportunity to take stock of preparations for this significant cultural event, especially in view of Irbid’s rich cultural and heritage assets, and the related activities and events, in which all Arab countries are invited to participate extensively by organizing cultural weeks during the year-long celebration.
At the end of the meeting, the two parties agreed to pursue coordination and consultation in pursuit of shared goals and interests.
