H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on February 16, 2022, H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Ali Al-Sager, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Tunisia.
The Director-General seized this opportunity to reiterate his sincere thanks to the Saudi King, Government and people for having generously hosted the 116th session of ALECSO’s Executive Board in Saudi Arabia.
During this meeting, the two sides discussed the ways and means of scaling up cooperation between ALECSO and Saudi Arabia. They addressed the joint programs that will be implemented in the Kingdom in cooperation with the Saudi National Commission for Education, Culture and Science. They also discussed preparations for the First Conference on Food Security, to be convened jointly with King Faisal University in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia.
On his part, the Saudi Ambassador expressed his thanks to the Director-General for the valuable efforts and qualitative activities implemented by the Organization in its fields of competence. He also commended the excellent relations between Saudi Arabia and ALECSO, and their shared endeavor to strengthen joint Arab action.
