ALECSO Director-General receives Tunisian Minister of Employment and Vocational Training
H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, received, on February 15, 2022 at ALECSO headquarters, H.E. Dr. Nasreddine Nsibi, Minister of Employment and Vocational Training of the Republic of Tunisia, and President of the Second Conference of Arab Ministers and Officials in charge of Technical and Vocational Education and Training.
This meeting discussed key issues and challenges facing the TVET sector in the Arab world, and the adequate ways and means to boost Arab and global cooperation toward further enhancing the TVET sector as a driver of development.
The meeting also addressed the mechanisms for following up the recommendations adopted at the Second Conference of Arab Ministers and Officials in charge of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, held by ALECSO and hosted by Tunisia on October 26-28, 2021, as well as for scaling up technical cooperation between ALECSO and the Ministry. It was agreed, in this regard, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties, along with the associated Executive Program.
