The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization celebrates, along with all Arab theater artists, the Arab Theater Day.
This celebration comes as part of implementing the recommendation of the 22nd Conference of Arab Culture Ministers, held in Dubai, UAE, on December 19-20, 2021, for the adoption of January 10th of each year as an Arab Theater Day to be celebrated in all Arab countries. This event serves as an opportunity to evaluate Arab States’ efforts to develop theatrical art, and to address issues of concern to Arab theater artists.
On this occasion, ALECSO is pleased to publish the Message of the Arab Theater Day, received from the Arab Theater Authority and penned this year by the Lebanese artist Rafik Ali Ahmed.
