Algerian Prime Minister receives Director-General of ALECSO

 

 

H.E. Mr. Ayman ben Abdel-Rahman, Prime Minister of Algeria, received, on December 26, 2021, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO. The meeting was also attended by H.E. Dr. Abdelbaki Benziane, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The Prime Minister welcomed the Director-General, and commended the Organization’s significant role and achievements in all its fields of action.

On his part, the Director-General thanked the Prime Minister for the warm welcome, and expressed appreciation of the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Higher Education for the excellent preparation of the Conference of Arab Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The Director-General offered an overview about ALECSO’s current activities and future-oriented vision for promoting equitable and inclusive quality education. He indicated that the Arab University Ranking will be on the Conference agenda.  He also stressed the need to benefit from Arab experts at home and abroad to support and enhance integration among universities and research centers across the Arab World.

At the end of the meeting, the Director-General offered the “ALECSO Shield” to the Algerian Prime Minister.
