As part of the 22nd session of the Conference of Arab Culture Ministers, held in Dubai, UAE, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, met, on December 19, 2021, with H.E. Mr. Hamed bin Mohammad Fayez, Deputy-Minister of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
The Deputy-Minister reaffirmed, on this occasion, Saudi Arabia’s continued support to ALECSO’s programs and projects in all educational, cultural, scientific, and ICT fields.
On his part, the Director-General stressed that ALECSO is keen to intensify coordination with Saudi Arabia in order to pursue the implementation of joint programs and projects, and support Arab intangible heritage files.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for the upcoming (116th) session of ALECSO’s Executive Board, currently chaired by H.E. Mr. Hani bin Moqbel Al-Moqbel from Saudi Arabia, which will be kindly hosted by the Kingdom on January 25-27, 2022.
