H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, met on November 16, 2021 with H.E Dr. Ghazi Ghrairi, Ambassador-Permanent Delegate of Tunisia to UNESCO
The meeting focused on cooperation between ALECSO and the Arab Group, especially as regards the joint Arab files submitted for inscription on the World Heritage List.
The Director-General thanked the Ambassador for his support to the inscription files presented to the Arab Group, as well as for the significant role he played to rally support for ALECSO’s “World Novel Week” initiative (October 13-17 of each year).
The Director-General and the Ambassador discussed preparations for the celebration of this event following its adoption by the 41st session of the UNESCO General Conference.
