The third Statistical Bulletin for 2021 has recently been released by the ALECSO Observatory, under the title : “The World Cultural Heritage in the Arab Countries”.
The Bulletin includes data and indicators on tangible and intangible cultural heritage, as well as on endangered heritage properties, in the world and in the Arab countries.
The outcomes of the 44th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, held on July 16-31, 2021, were taken into consideration in preparing this Bulletin.
To enrich the Bulletin, an appendix has been added to provide a list of cultural (natural or mixed) heritage in the Arab countries, along with a brief description of each property and information on endangered properties.
