Regional Forum on Digital Cultural Economy kicks off in Djerba

 

The Regional Forum on Digital Cultural Economy was inaugurated, on October 21, 2021 in Djerba, Tunisia, under the auspices of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), and in collaboration with the Tunis International Center for Digital Cultural Economy.

The Forum was opened with a statement by the Tunisian Minister of Cultural Affairs, delivered on her behalf by Ms. Salwa Abdel-Khalek, Director-General of the Tunis International Center for Digital Cultural Economy, and a statement by Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, delivered on his behalf by Dr. Ahmadou Habibi.

The three-day Forum addresses the role of digital cultural economy and startups in creating an infrastructure for cultural industrialization in the Arab countries.
