The 6th meeting of ALECSO, ICESCO and ABEGS was launched on October 20, 2021, in the presence of representatives from the Regional Center for Educational Planning (RCEP), Regional Center of Quality and Excellence in Education (RCQE), and the Arab National Commissions for Education, Culture and Science.
At the start of the meeting, opening statements were made by the Directors-General of ABEGS, ICESCO, ALECSO, RCEP, and RCQE.
The meeting addressed the post-COVID forward-looking vision of ABEGS, ICESCO and ALECSO in response to emergencies and crises.
Interventions were then made by the Secretaries-General of the National Commissions of Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, and Qatar.
The meeting concluded with recommendations for further strengthening partnership among the three organizations and with other organizations sharing similar interests, in a way that meets current challenges.
It is worth noting that the 21st meeting of the Secretaries-General of Arab national Commissions for Education, Culture and Science is scheduled for October 21, 2021.
