H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and H.E. Dr. Ismail Abdel-Ghafar, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, signed, on October 12, 2021, a cooperation protocol between the two institutions at the headquarters of the Arab League General Secretariat in Cairo, under the auspices of H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
The Director-General’s visit to the Academy was an opportunity to explore areas of mutually beneficial partnership, and this framework agreement came to lay the ground for a fruitful cooperation between ALECSO and the Academy which pursue shared goals in several fields.
