The ALECSO “Chair on Education for Sustainable Development and Creative Cultural Heritage” at the Faculty of Education Sciences, Mohammed V University, Rabat, Morocco, organizes, on June 8, 2021, an interactive meeting on “Education for Sustainable Development in Light of the New Development Model”.
This meeting is part of the official launch of the Chair, the latest Moroccan Chair affiliated with ALECSO.
This Chair is concerned with the digital upgrading of the educational system, and focuses on the issues, concepts and tools related to education for sustainable development and cultural heritage, in addition to the conduct of multidisciplinary research and scientific studies in the field.
This Chair is aligned with ALECSO’s goal to provide the needed expertise, knowledge and innovative contribution for the achievement of sustainable development.
The meeting will be attended by Moroccan and foreign researchers and representatives of institutional partners, civil society actors and relevant international bodies. It offers an opportunity to present suggestions and recommendations and come out with a shared vision regarding the goals of the “Chair on Education for Sustainable Development and Creative Cultural Heritage”.
The program involves two sessions : the first includes opening remarks, a keynote lecture, along with a presentation of the Chair and its goals and programs; the second session is devoted to sharing experience and expertise and presenting proposals and recommendations by the participating bodies and organizations.
