H.E. Dr. Sidi Ould Salem, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Information and Communication Technologies, and Official Spokesman of the Mauritanian Government, received, on May 24, 2021, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Nouakchott, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO.
The Minister thanked the Organization for this significant initiative which will help the Ministry build a modern technological infrastructure and strengthen its e-learning capacities.
On his part, the Director-General commended the significant cooperation between ALECSO and several Mauritanian universities for which the Organization has provided online educational platforms during the COVID-19 crisis. He indicated that this cooperation will be maintained to support the Ministry’s goals and projects.
The Minister and the Director-General chaired, on the same day, the ceremony for the distribution of one thousand computers offered by ALECSO to the Mauritanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
