ALECSO concludes remote training course for   education quality experts in the Arab countries

 

 

The remote training course organized by ALECSO (Education Department) for a group of Arab experts in education quality was concluded on March 25, 2021.  This course was attended by 39 experts from 13 Arab countries, namely Jordan, UAE, Tunisia, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Iraq, Oman, Palestine, Comoros, Libya, Egypt, and Yemen.

Chairing the closing session, Dr. Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Shwerikh, Director of the Education Department, commended the participants’ high level of professionalism and their keenness to share relevant knowledge, experience and expertise. He underlined the importance of enhancing quality in educational institutions, which would serve the best interest of learners and improve educational outcomes in all Arab countries. 

On their part, participants expressed their appreciation of ALECSO’s initiative to organize such training events, and commended its constant efforts to improve the quality of education in the Arab world. They expressed hope to see such initiatives maintained and strengthened, as they offer real opportunities for developing knowledge and skills and sharing experience and expertise in this vital and strategic field.

This session, launched on March 23, 2021, is part of a series of training events that ALECSO has been organizing since 2018, with the aim of building a network of education quality experts in Arab countries, which will serve as a framework for advancing the education sector and boosting its role in achieving comprehensive development across the Arab world.
