As part of the celebration of “Teachers’ Day in Arab Countries”, a cooperation agreement was signed, on March 1, 2021, by H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, and H.E. Dr. Jamal Al Muhairi, Secretary-General of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Performance.
The agreement is designed to serve the two parties’ common strategic goals, including, in particular, enhancing the quality of education, spreading the culture of distinguished academic performance, and developing education and scientific research in the Arab world toward “ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education”, in line with Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Agenda.
It is worth recalling that ALECSO has previously cooperated with Hamdan Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Foundation, a leading institution working for the promotion of quality education and distinguished academic performance.
