The Director-General of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, and the Director-General of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), Eng. Abdennabi Manar , signed, on January 20, 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) designed to further promote cooperation and the sharing of experience and expertise between the two organizations.
In his statement on this occasion, Dr. Ould Amar underlined that the signing of this MoU will further enhance joint Arab action and open wider prospects for the two organizations to strengthen bilateral consultation toward establishing a joint executive program to be implemented in the period to come. On his part, Dr. Manar affirmed that cooperation with ALECSO in a number of promising areas will contribute to advancing joint Arab action, in line with the directions and objectives of the League of Arab States.
The MoU covers various fields of cooperation, including the sharing of information, documents and experiences related to issues of common interest, the sharing of knowledge in the fields of scientific and technical research, the implementation of future projects of mutual benefit, and cooperation in activities designed for the advancement of the Arabic language, through coordinating Arab and international efforts and initiatives in this regard.
