ALECSO launches remote training-of-trainers initiative   for Djibouti and the Comoros

 

Under the directives of H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, an initiative was launched, on January 18, 2021, for the implementation of training-of-trainers sessions in Djibouti and the Comoros.

The training course will be held remotely and extends over three months, with the participation of forty trainees from each country and under the supervision of international experts. It is designed to upgrade Arabic-language teacher competencies in terms of teaching and learning theories, child and adolescent psychology, and other related topics, through various means and activities, including brainstorming, theoretical presentations, situation analysis, and others. 

Dr. Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Shwerikh, Director of the Education Department, inaugurated the training session and delivered a statement in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to all participants, explained the significant goals underlying this initiative, and concluded by wishing all success to this training event. 

One of the expected outcomes of this training initiative is the formation of national teams with high competencies, extensive knowledge, and outstanding training skills in their field of expertise, to help achieve true and comprehensive community development.
