H.E. Dr. Mohamed Ould Amar, Director-General of ALECSO, took part in the 50th meeting of the Higher Coordination Committee for Joint Arab action, held via video conference on January 12, 2021.
The meeting, which was chaired by Dr. Kamal Hassan, Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs at the League of Arab States, addressed the following items :
- Following up on the implementation of the resolutions of the 49th session;
- Establishing an Arab observatory under the supervision of the Arab League General Secretariat, and in cooperation with joint Arab action organizations and institutions;
- Setting up a unit to put forward practical proposals to confront the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis and develop a shared vision.
